Project Pilgrim - Archaeological works underway
Before the landscape works can commence, a comprehensive programme of archaeogical works is required. Border Archaeology begun the dig on 24th October 2016. Already a rare mid-late C15th to early C16th 'momento mori' rosary bead, numerous coins and the expected human burial remains have been found.
